Charmaine Wingate
With over 18 years of quality dental experience, Charmaine has been the cheerful face and voice of the Zeidler Dental Group reception area. Her dental assisting background and x-ray license has made her a knowledgeable asset to the team. Charmaine joined the practice in 2004 and enjoys her position as it allows close interaction with every staff member and allows her to give all patients the attention and care that the Zeidler Dental group strives to provide.
Lorrie Tarango, R.D.H.
Originally from Texas, Lorrie has over 15 years of experience and has earned three dental hygiene licenses from California, Texas and Georgia. Directly out of high school, Lorrie graduated from Amarillo College and immediately developed her love for dentistry and scaling. Dental hygiene has allowed her to build lasting relationships with patients and members of the dental community. Lorrie has excellent clinical skills with 3 years of periodontal experience and certificates in curettage, nitrous and CPR. The most rewarding and motivational aspect of her work is seeing beautiful smiles and witnessing improvement of overall general health in her patients after providing oral hygiene instructions.
Katherine Lee, R.D.H.
After completing her undergraduate Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara, Katie furthered her Dental Hygiene studies and received her Associates’ Degree from San Joaquin Valley College. Two years of dental assisting and growing up in a family of multiple healthcare providers, Katie has found dental hygiene to be an amazingly rewarding and perfectly fitting career. A member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association, Laser-Assisted Periodontal Therapy and CRP certified, Katie enjoys continuing her education and research. She takes great pride in providing quality oral health care and teaching the benefits of prevention.
Dayna Hashimoto, R.D.A.
While completing her Bachelor’s of Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara, Dayna served as a Dental Assistant in order to provide insight into a possible career. Dayna found dental pathology and restorative procedures extremely interesting and developed a love for the field instantly. She finds great reward in preventative patient care and strives to deliver the highest standards of care. Seven years of clinical experience has provided Dayna with an extensive background of dental knowledge necessary to manage our team. She is grateful to have the opportunity to witness the transformation of a patient's healthy and beautiful smile and plans to further her studies in Dental Medicine in the near future.
Adriana Acosta - R.D.A.
Adriana quickly excelled in her studies at San Jose City College. Soon after graduation from the Dental Assisting program, Adriana found a passion for dentistry. Diligent and organized, Adriana does a great job of maintaining the sterilization laboratory and has taken on the role of training and mentoring many of our interns. Adriana feels fortunate to have witnessed many amazing transformations of patients of the Zeidler Dental Group. She feels true reward in seeing a patient’s healthy and beautiful smile.
Samantha Burtis, R.D.A.
Samantha realized she had a love and drive for dentistry early on. As a young adult, she enjoyed her trips to the dentist and was interested in every detail of her appointments. While in braces, she realized that dentistry was the perfect field for her. The Dental Assisting Program at San Jose City College provided excellent clinical skill training and academic preparation. After graduating SJCC, Samantha expanded her functions and became a Registered Dental Assistant. Also a member of the American Dental Assistants Association, Samantha strives to deliver quality dental health care to all patients.
Parastu Barnett, R.D.H.
Paras, the newest addition to our team, began her dental career in 1993. Driven by her love of dentistry, Paras graduated as the Class President and Valedictorian of Dental Hygiene at Foothill College in Los Altos, California. Paras is highly skilled in instrumentation and truly enjoys sharing her knowledge of preventative oral care.
